By using FileDrop, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You must create an account to use FileDrop. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

You agree not to use FileDrop to store or share any illegal, harmful, or abusive content, including but not limited to: malware, copyrighted material you do not own, explicit content without consent, or content that violates any applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and share through FileDrop. You must ensure you have the right to store and distribute any files you upload. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files — do not rely on FileDrop as your sole storage solution.

Free tier accounts are subject to a storage limit of 2 GB. Files are retained until you delete them. You are responsible for managing your own files.

We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from account termination or service interruption. Always maintain your own backups of important files.

Share links and email download links expire after the duration you select (1 hour to 1 week). Expired links cannot be restored. You are responsible for managing your share links and ensuring they are shared only with intended recipients.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. FileDrop is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

FileDrop and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
